Nature Explore Outdoor Classroom:

*******************Exciting New Initiative***********************

Trees Indiana will be working with two national non-profit organizations, the Arbor Day Foundation and Dimensions Educational Research Foundation, in the planning and design of a certified Nature Explore Outdoor Clasroom.  The classroom will be built at Cedar Canyon Elementary School located at the corner of Gump and Coldwater Road in northwest Fort Wayne.  It is not unrealistic to believe that this outdoor classroom will impact thousands of children over the ensuing years as this classroom will be utilized by our TreeKeepers and youth from the greater Fort Wayne area.

. Field-tested designs and components include:

• Structures for playing, climbing, and building
• Materials featuring the textures, smells, beauty, and wonder of nature
• Activities to develop children’s observation skills and imagination

WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT TO HELP CHILDREN DEVELOP STRONG CONNECTIONS TO NATURE THAT WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN THEIR LIVES - AND IN THE WORLD - FOR GENERATIONS TO COME.  PLEASE   VISIT OUR DONATION PAGE TO MAKE A PLEDGE NOW!
